PHOTO EXHIBITION

The Photo Competition aimed to gather impactful visual content reflecting the themes of gender, climate justice, and resilience. This initiative encouraged participants to submit photographs that captured the lived experiences, challenges, and resilience of communities impacted by climate change, particularly through a gendered lens.

Summary of Activity

The initiative led to the submission of over 120 entries from national and international contributors. From these submissions, 20 were selected to be featured at the conference, with three top entries awarded fully funded trips (including accommodation, transportations and meals) to the conference along with special awards. These winning photos were celebrated for their powerful representation of the conference themes and their unique perspectives on climate justice and gender equality.

The conference activities effectively bridged pre-conference groundwork with in-depth main day discussions, creating a cohesive platform for sharing research and insights on climate resilience, gender equality, and sustainable governance.
